Face It- Facebook’s here and everyone wants in, even our parents, and much to my kids chagrin, even their grandparents…cringe. So
Here’s 3 Ways to take advantage of Facebook:
- Share your business page as a link once a week and ask friends if they will “Like” your page. Be creative about it- have a lure – a reason-for them to do it waiting for them on the Facebook side, like a free service.
- Along those lines, offer interesting, education based info and tools for them on your Facebook page that will be useful for them, such as a new widget or plug-in you’ve just discovered. Encourage visitors to comment on them and engage them in discussions. BUILD THAT RELATIONSHIP!
- Share your blog on your facebook page and encourage folks to come over and share comments there. Hint hint.
Remember that Facebook is a public site, not private like your website, and therefore is indexed and ranked high on the search engines, often times much higher than your own site. Take advantage of that placement and make the site work for you.
